Kicking Cancer in the GuinASS!!!

I'm limping 10KM for the cure...

Dear friends and family, thanks for visiting my fundraising page for the Underwear Affair 10 Km run / 5 km walk!

This is my second year participating in this event, and after such an amazing inaugural year, I see no reason to stop now. As part of the team, called "Is it Beer O'Clock" to raise funds and awareness of the many Cancer's that are below the belt...you know the ones I am talking about - testicular, prostate, colon etc...! and that's just for the guys!!! Women of course face equal, or significantly worse, challenges.

My interest in this amazing event comes from a very personal experience. In January of 2007 I was being tested for Testicular Cancer; fortuneately, the tests and ultrasound were negative. The experience shook my foundation more than a little. Since then, however, a number of friends have told of their experiences, and in some cases, survival stories.

So, I will be just one of thousands of people participating, in my underwear too I might add and will be walking through the streets of Vancouver to raise money and awareness for these deadly and scary cancers. It will be the biggest Underwear Affair this town has ever seen!

Now, I hope you know what's coming now.. I need your help... and to help, you can donate to the cause, through me!!!

Don’t be shy (I'm clearly NOT shy as I'll be wearing boxers - or less- for this event!!!) This run is about giving these devastating cancers some exposure and shedding some light on their cures.

So please help me in my effort to raise money for care and research for cancers "down there!"

Thanks!

Greg 'GuinnASS' Mitchell

Wow...
Since I first signed up for this event, after being tested for testicular Cancer in January of 2007, I have found out about so many friends and family that have suffered from Cancer's below the belt.
From family with Cervical cancers, to friends and fellow high school grads who have survived testicular cancer...
It has been an eye opening experience to say the least - and it makes me want to participate in this event more and more each year.
Enough Said...for now.
